FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

This product is formulated from various sodium-free salts and other inorganic compounds in a specific ratio, applicable to cast aluminum alloys and wrought aluminum alloys, such as automobile and motorcycle wheels, pistons, aluminum rods, aluminum foils, etc.

Product Feature

Properties: white powder (2.5kg/bag) or columnar (0.5kg/block).

Processing temperature: 700°C ~ 760°C.

Recommended dosage: add 0.2~0.5% of the weight of aluminum liquid, and the specific amount will increase or decrease depending on the purity of the charge.

Packaging and storage: 20kg or 25kg per carton. Store properly and strictly prevent moisture.

Main Advantages

◀Sodium-free composition avoids/reduces the formation of white spots or sodium embrittlement on the surface of aluminum and aluminum alloys.

◀ For alloys containing active metals (e.g., aluminum-magnesium alloys), it prevents sodium contamination, which could otherwise reduce mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, ensuring the inherent performance of the alloy remains intact.

◀ During the molten reaction process, it releases gases beneficial for molten aluminum refining and dross removal, enhancing modification efficiency.

Usage Method

Put a fixed amount of flux into the bell jar(cover) within the refining temperature range and press it into the three quarters of the aluminum liquid, and move it smoothly to various parts until the flux reacts completely. If it is a large reflection furnace, you can also use a powder sprayer to spray this product into the aluminum liquid, and move it horizontally inside. The insertion depth should be 3/4 of the depth of the iron pipe end at the aluminum liquid. Move the iron pipe forward, backward,  left and right, and do not touch the furnace wall to prevent pipe blockage. Spray the flux within the refining time (10-15 minutes for 6-20 tons), then pull the iron pipe out of the aluminum liquid and turn off the nitrogen.
