FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

This product is processed from a variety of salt compounds through a special technique. It is evenly sprayed into the interior of the  aluminum liquid by a powder sprayer with nitrogen or argon as the carrier, thereby achieving dual purification of the aluminum liquid by both gas and flux. This product is widely used in the aluminum processing industry.


Product Feature

Properties: Grayish-white granular,2.5kg per bag or packaged as per customer's requirements.

Applicable alloys: It is used for smelting pure aluminum and various commonly used grades of aluminum alloys.

Processing temperature: 700℃ ~ 760℃. 

Recommended dosage: Add at (0.1-0.3) % of the weight of the molten aluminum.

Packaging and storage: Carton or woven bags lined with plastic bags, 20kg or 25kg per piece. Store properly and prevent moisture.


Main Advantages

◀ It combines the advantages of gas refining and flux  refining into one, and has a better degassing effect.

◀ The addition amount is small, the operation is simple and convenient, and it reduces the labor intensity of workers.

◀ The utilization rate of the flux is high, effectively achieving the degassing and slag removal of the molten aluminum.

◀ During the refining process, no smoke or dust is produced, and there is no odor, which basically meets the environmental protection requirements.

Usage Method

In the refining temperature range, put a certain amount of refining flux into  the storage tank of the powder sprayer and cover it. First, pass nitrogen  (pressure is 1.2~1.8kg/cm²) and then turn on the switch under the refining  tank. When the refining flux is sprayed out of the iron pipe, insert the iron  pipe into the aluminum liquid and move it horizontally. The insertion depth should be three quarters of the depth of the aluminum liquid, front and back.Move the iron pipe and do not touch the furnace wall to prevent blocking the pipe (6~20 tons for 10~15 minutes). After the flux is sprayed, the iron pipe is pulled  out of the aluminum liquid and the nitrogen is turned off.

Precautions

A.Control the speed of particle delivery by opening the size of the switch atthe bottom of the refining tank, and try to have flux sprayed out during the refining time.

B. Control the tumbling height of the aluminum liquid by controlling the nitrogen pressure. Under the premise of not blocking the pipe, it is better  to have a smaller tumbling height. It is best to be below 15cm.
