FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

This product is made of a variety of salt compounds through a special process. It is evenly sprayed into the aluminum liquid with nitrogen or argon as the carrier by a powder spraying machine, thereby achieving dual purification of the aluminum liquid by gas and flux. This  product is widely used in the aluminum processing industry.


Product Feature

· Properties: white powder, 2.5kg/bag or packaged according to customer needs.

· Applicable alloys: used for smelting pure aluminum and various commonly used grades of aluminum alloys.

· Processing temperature: 700°C ~ 760°C.

· Recommended dosage: add 0.1%~0.4% ofthe weight of the aluminum liquid. 

· Packaging and storage: carton or woven bag, lined with plastic bag, 20kg or 25kg per piece,properly stored, strictly prevent moisture.

Main Advantages

It has the advantages of gas refining and flux refining in one, with good degassing effect, small addition amount, simple and convenient operation, reduced labor intenity of workers, high utilization rate of flux, and effective degassing and slag removal of aluminum liquid.

Usage Method

In the refining temperature range, put a certain amount of refining flux  into the storage tank of the powder sprayer and cover it. First, pass nitrogen (pressure is 1.2~1.8kg/cm²) and then turn on the switch under  the refining tank. When the refining flux is sprayed out of the iron pipe, insert the iron pipe into the aluminum liquid and move it horizontally. The insertion depth should be 3/4 of the depth of the aluminum liquid. Move the iron pipe forward and backward and left and right, and do not  touch the furnace wall to prevent blocking the pipe. Spray the flux within  the refining time (10.15 minutes for 6~20 tons), then extract the iron pipe  from the aluminum liquid and turn off the nitrogen.

Precautions

◀ Control the speed of powder feeding by opening the size of the switch at the bottom of the refining tank, and try to spray flux during the refining time.

◀ Control the tumbling height of the aluminum liquid by controlling the nitrogen pressure. Under the premise of not blocking the pipe, it is better to have a smaller tumbling height, preferably below 15cm.
