FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

This product is a precisely compounded inorganic salt phosphorus  salt as the main metamorphic element, combined with other elements. It mainly has a good metamorphic effect on eutectic and hype-reutectic aluminum-silicon alloys. Under the current production process in the domestic piston industry, phosphoric acid salt composite modifier has become the preferred modifier product in this industry due to its unique and irreplaceable advantages.

Product Feature

Properties: White cylinder (0.5kg per piece).

Processing temperature: 760℃ ~ 800℃.

Recommended dosage: Add at (0.3-0.5) % of the weight of the molten aluminum

Applicable alloys: Eutectic aluminum-silicon alloys (such as 108 and 109 alloys) and hypereutectic aluminum-silicon alloys.

Packaging and storage conditions: Packed in cartons lined with plastic bags, 20kg per piece. Store properly and strictly prevent  moisture. 

Main Advantages

◀ The room temperature tensile strength of the piston treated with this flux is nearly 20% higher than that of the one treated with sodium salt modifier, with a small expansion coefficient and good volume  stability.

◀ It has high thermal conductivity, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, easy casting processing, and high surface finish.

◀ It has long-lasting effect and remelting property. After the alloy is treated with this modifier, it will not only not cause the modification effect to decline, but will make the initial silicon distribution more uniform.

◀ It has good casting fluidity, greatly reduces the shrinkage and shrinkage tendency of castings, and improves the piston yield.

◀ It is convenient and safe to store and transport.

Usage Method

After the alloy rises to a certain temperature, remove the slag. Use a bell jar or a ladle to press the modifier into the crucible to a depth of three quarters until the reaction is complete. Let it stand for 10 minutes, then refine and cast.
