FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

Eutectic and hypereutectic aluminum-silicon cast aluminum alloys are widely used in applications such as engine pistons, air conditioning pistons, and various wear-resistant and lightweight parts. Due  to the presence of coarse primary silicon, eutectic silicon and inevitable plate-like and needle-like iron phases in the microstructure of  eutectic and hypereutectic aluminum alloys, the mechanical properties of the materials decline. It is necessary to refine the primary silicon and eutectic silicon by adding Pelement. After adding Mn  element to refine the iron phase; Only in this way can the performance requirements of the parts be met. The aluminum-phosphorus alloy type modifier produced by our company belongs to the aluminum-based alloy type. It is prepared through advanced nano-melt technology and can simultaneously refine the primary silicon, eutectic silicon and plate-like iron in the microstructure of aluminum alloys. It also features excellent refinement effect and environmental friendliness.

Product Feature

 · Model: SY-PB6 modified alloy, used for the modific-ation treatment of molten aluminum in gas furnaces, power frequency furnaces and holding furnaces. The modification efficiency of  SY-PB6 alloy is very high. At 780℃, add 1000 grams. For SY-PB6 det-eriorated alloy, the increase of P in 1 ton of aluminum water can reach 22-26PPM in just 8 minutes. Moreover, the deterioration effect is good, the purity of the molten aluminum is high, it will not cause changes in the elements of the alloy, will not increase impurities, and has the effect of refining the iron phase.

Usage Method

Calculate the amount of addition according to the  P element control content (see Appendix 3), add it directly to the furnace, the addition  temperature is 780℃~850℃, and the reaction diffusion time is >8 minutes.
