FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

This product is precisely compounded with high-phosphorus powder as the main metamorphic element and other elements. It mainly plays a good metamorphic role in eutectic and hypereutectic  aluminum-silicon alloys.

Product Feature

Properties: Blackish-gray cylinder (0.5kg per piece).

Processing temperature: 780℃ ~ 840℃ .

Recommended dosage: Add at (0.15-0.35) % of the weight of the molten aluminum.

Applicable alloys: Eutectic aluminum-silicon alloys (such as 108 and 109 alloys) and hypereutectic aluminum-silicon alloys.

Packaging and storage: Packed in cartons lined with plastic bags, 25kg per piece. Keep properly and strictly prevent moisture. 

Main Advantages

◀ Directly added to the aluminum liquid, it will sink automatically, and no belljar is required to press it in.

◀ High phosphorus content, smokeless and environmentally friendly, no reaction slag appears, and aluminum liquid burns are reduced.

◀ It has high thermal conductivity, wear resistance, and corrosion resi- stance. The castings are easy to process and have high surface finish.

◀  It possesses long-lasting property and remeltability. When the alloy treated with this modifier undergoes subsequent refining, the modification effect does not degrade; instead, the distribution of primary silicon becomes more uniform.

◀ It has good casting fluidity, greatly reduces the shrinkage and shrinkage tendency of the casting, and improves the piston yield.

◀ It melts and absorbs quickly. It is basically smokeless, odorless, non-toxic, not easy to inhale, and does not stick to the crucible and tools during modification.

◀ It is convenient and safe to store and transport. 

Usage Method

After the alloy rises to a certain temperature, the slag is removed. The high-phosphorus modifier is directly placed in the crucible,  and the product will automatically enter the molten aluminum. The reaction lasts for 10 to 15 minutes. After standing for 10 minutes, it is refined and cast.
