Zinc Remover SY-CXJ1

SY-CXJ1
FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

For aluminum alloy manufacturers with specific requirements, excessive zinc content can cause products to fail to meet national standard requirements. This product is applied in the production process of aluminum and aluminum alloys for zinc impurity control, effectively reducing zinc content in aluminum alloys to meet user production needs.

Product Feature

Properties: White powder ;

Processing Temperature740℃ ~ 760℃

Recommended DosageThe addition amount of zinc remover is between 0.1% and 0.5% of the total metal mass, and the specific dosage shall be adjusted according to the alloy composition and process requirements.

• Safe Operation: When using zinc remover, safety goggles and a face mask shall be worn to avoid inhaling dust or skin contact.

Main Advantages

◀ Through preferential reaction between active elements in the aluminum alloy material and zinc, high-melting-point or low-density compounds are formed, which can be separated by precipitation or slag floating.

◀ No new harmful impurities are introduced after addition, and the impact on the alloy composition of the aluminum melt is controllable, ensuring subsequent product performance.

◀ Widely available raw materials, low addition ratio, and overall cost lower than other physical zinc removal methods; no toxic gases generated during the reaction, and waste slag can be recycled and processed, complying with green smelting requirements.

Usage Method

No additional complex equipment is required after addition. Zinc impurity separation can be achieved through stirring (5–10 minutes) and settling (20-30 minutes), compatible with continuous casting or batch production.

Precautions

◀ Safety Operation: When using the zinc remover, wear protective goggles and masks to avoid inhaling dust or skin contact.

◀ Subsequent Handling: After degassing, timely clean the dross and residues on the surface of the aluminum melt to prevent affecting casting quality.

◀ When the zinc content is below 100 ppm, the dosage of Zinc remover should be increased as appropriate. The lower the Zinc content, the greater the treatment difficulty, hence the dosage should be increased accordingly.
