The sodium-free calcium remover produced by our company is composed of a variety of salts and inorganic compounds that do not contain sodium or calcium.

It is made by mixing and drying in a certain proportion and is mainly suitable for calcium removal treatment when the calcium content in molten aluminum is relatively high.

Recommended dosage: Add 6-10:1 of the calcium-removing amount.

Usage Method

After adjusting the alloy composition, calcium removal is carried out. First, the floating slag on the surface of the aluminum liquid is removed. When the temperature of the aluminum liquid is between 720℃ and 760℃, the calcium remover is loaded into the powder spraying machine. Using 99.99% nitrogen as the carrier, the calcium remover is sprayed into the interior of the aluminum liquid through the powder spraying pipe. The powder spraying pipe should be inserted horizontally into the bottom of the aluminum liquid Move evenly, paying special attention to the dead corners inside the furnace. Ensure that the calcium remover fully reacts with the aluminum liquid.

This process takes about 15 minutes. Then, stir thoroughly and let it stand for about 5 minutes to remove the scum on the surface of the aluminum liquid. This calcium removal process is completed. Then take samples for analysis. If the calcium content exceeds the standard, repeat the above process once. When the calcium content is below 100 ppm, the dosage of calcium remover should be increased as appropriate. The lower the calcium content, the greater the treatment difficulty, hence the dosage should be increased accordingly.
