FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

Al‑Ti‑B Grain Refiner is a high‑efficiency metallurgical auxiliary specifically used for smelting and casting of aluminium and aluminium alloys.

With precise composition ratio, it can rapidly and uniformly refine α‑aluminum matrix grains and significantly optimize the internal microstructure of alloys, targeting core industrial problems in aluminium alloy production such as coarse grains, uneven structure, composition segregation, and high tendency of casting defects including porosity and cracks.

It is applicable to the full range of aluminium alloys including pure aluminium, Al‑Si, Al‑Mg and Al‑Cu alloys, and is widely used in the production of aluminium wheels, engine castings, aluminium profiles, cast‑rolled sheets, bars & wires, extruded parts and other products.

This enhances the grain refinement ability of Al-Ti-B wire, ensures no degradation of refinement effect, and enables online addition.


Usage Method

The addition of Al-Ti-B wire to piston materials can effectively improve the internal quality of pistons and enhance their comprehensive mechanical properties, with room temperature fatigue strength increased by 13.2% (data from Bohai Piston). This improves market competitiveness, and it is recommended for use in piston products for passenger cars and medium/heavy-duty truck diesel engines.
