This product is made of a variety of sodium-free salts and other inorganic compounds in a certain proportion and processed by a special process. The slag treated by it will become quite dry and loose,reducing the loss of aluminum liquid and improving the purity of aluminum liquid.

• Processing temperature: 680°C ~ 760°C.

• Recommended dosage: Add 0.1~0.3% of the weight of aluminum liquid, depending on the type of furnace and the purity of the charge.

• Packaging and storage: Carton or woven bag, 20kg or 25kg per box,properly stored, strictly prevent moisture

Main Advantages

◀ No sodium content, avoiding/reducing white spots or sodium embrittlement on the surface of aluminum and aluminum alloys.

◀ Good heat generation, separation of impurities in slag, and decomposition of alumina in slag, making the aluminum slag dry and loose,very easy to remove.

◀ Reduces slag adhesion to furnace walls and bottom, decreases furnace cleaning frequency, and extends furnace service life.

Usage Method

Evenly spread the drossing flux on the surface of molten aluminum, promptly stir the dross to ensure full contact between flux and dross for 3-5 minutes, and skim off the dross once it turns dry and powdery.
