FEATURE DESCRIPTION:

Aluminum alloy element additives are a new type of product that replaces aluminum master alloys. It is a block-shaped item made  by uniformly mixing pure metal powder and fluxes with certain characteristics in a certain proportion and pressing them together. The use of aluminum alloy element additives to replace intermediate alloys can simplify the aluminum alloy smelting process, save energy and raw materials, lower production costs, facilitate precise control of alloy composition, and improve product quality. This product also has the advantages of high metal content, small volume, easy storage, transportation and use.

Usage Method

Addition Amount Calculation Method: [Required Content in Alloy (%) − Original Content in Alloy (%)] × Weight of Molten Alloy in Furnace / [Metal Element Content (%) × Absorption Rate (%)]

• Explanation of usage

◀ Remove the scum on the surface of the molten aluminum, and evenly add the additive into the molten pool at the normal operating temperature (i.e. 720 ℃ to 760 ℃), and let it stand for 10 to 20 minutes.

◀ To ensure the uniform distribution and complete absorption of aluminum alloy elements, after standing still, the aluminum liquid should be thoroughly stirred for 7 to 15 minutes, and then the scum should be removed and samples taken for chemical composition analysis.
